Alex and Tyler met fifteen years ago at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they were both in the BFA Acting program. They became close friends and roommates in college — and when they graduated, they weren't quite ready to stop. Alex moved to New York City, and a couple years later Tyler followed, moving in with him one last time before his eventual move to LA. They lived together in New York for three years until the pandemic hit in 2020. Alex stayed in New York. Tyler finally made it to Los Angeles.
Since then, they've kept in touch the way most people do — FaceTime, texts, the occasional visit. But Tyler wanted something more: a real conversation, about something they both cared about, that they could turn into a thing. The idea? Simple. They're both working actors who somehow never got around to watching the classics. So they're watching them now. Every week, a new film. No critic scores, no hot takes — just two actors who should have seen these movies by now, finally doing something about it.

Born in Raleigh and raised in Matthews, North Carolina, Tyler discovered acting in seventh grade when he was placed in a theatre class he didn't exactly choose. By the end of the year he had his first role in Guys and Dolls — and he was hooked. After earning his BFA in Acting from UNCG, he made self-tapes with his mom in their garage before booking his first roles. He's since appeared in 13 Reasons Why, Bel-Air, Tales from the Loop, This Is Us, and more. He now lives in Los Angeles.
